Kris Jenner says plastic surgeon has 'secret password' for her friend's consults – USA Today

Kris Jenner can attest that her plastic surgeon does not operate on just anyone.
The “Kardashians” star, 69, revealed she gives her friends and family a secret password when requesting a consultation with New York City physician Dr. Steven Levine. “He didn’t want the attention, which I loved,” Jenner said in an Oct. 14 episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast.
“I said, ‘But do I have your permission to say who you are?’ And he goes, ‘Listen, I’ll tell you what. As long as we can come up with a password so that if somebody calls and says, ‘I’m Kris Jenner’s best friend, and can I have a consultation?’ They have to say the secret password,” the Kardashian matriarch explained.
Jenner said she has frequently received phone calls from Levine’s office trying to confirm requests from strangers pretending to be close to her.
“If I told you how many times his office has called and said, you know, ‘Julie Monopoly’s on the phone, and she says she’s your best friend.’ And I’m like, I’ve never heard of her. So definitely people have tried to get in,” she added. “So if you know me, you know what the password is.”
While to some, plastic surgery can feel taboo, Jenner flaunts her cosmetic work as a badge of honor.
Earlier this year, the mom of six clarified that while she holds no judgment for anyone who decides not to undergo plastic surgery, she refuses to be judged herself. “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy,” Jenner told Vogue Arabia in an interview published Aug. 26. “Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself.”
“If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don’t want to do anything – then don’t do anything,” she said. “But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version.”
She proudly credits Levine as her go-to plastic surgeon and has recently encouraged transparency about getting work done. “I decided to reveal some details because I feel it can be very ­inspirational to people who aren’t feeling so great about ­themselves,” she said.
“Even when I had my hip replacement, we filmed it,” Jenner said. “I have the conviction that sharing these things can be helpful.”
With her 70th birthday approaching on Nov. 5, Jenner said: “I don’t know what 70 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great and I’m happy to be there.”
