Kris Jenner said she has agreed a "secret password" with the plastic surgeon who did her $100,000 facelift so that friends and family can arrange a consultation with him.
The 69-year-old momager debuted her new look earlier this year, with many fans saying she appeared younger than her daughters. After weeks of rumors around her look, Kris revealed that New York plastic surgeon Steven Levine was behind her transformation.
Kris said she wanted to share "some details" about the procedure because she believes "it can be very inspirational to people who aren't feeling so great about themselves." Her transparency comes during a time in which more celebrities, including her daughters Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, are opening up about their cosmetic procedures.
During an appeared on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast on October 14, Kris said Dr Levine "didn't want the attention" but agreed that she could share his name publicly, as long as they agreed a "secret password" that only her closest family and friends could use to book a consultation with him. The Kardashians matriarch told podcast host Amanda Hirsch, "He didn't want the attention, which I loved.
"I said, 'But do I have your permission to say who you are?' And he goes, 'Listen, I'll tell you what. As long as we can come up with a password so that if somebody calls and says, 'I'm Kris Jenner's best friend, and can I have a consultation?' They have to say the secret password."
Kris said she has often received calls from the doctor's office trying to confirm requests from strangers pretending to be close to her. She added, "If I told you how many times his office has called and said, you know, 'Julie Monopoly's on the phone, and she says she's your best friend.'
"And I'm like, I've never heard of her. So definitely people have tried to get in. So if you know me, you know what the password is." Kris previously opened up about her cosmetic surgery when she appeared on the cover of Vogue in September, dressed by the legendary stylist and Project Runway judge Law Roach.
This was the momager's second solo Vogue cover, having first appeared on Vogue Czechoslovakia's December issue in 2022. In the accompanying article, Vogue opened up about her plastic surgery journey. "I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh," she said. "I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy. Just because you get older, it doesn't mean you should give up on yourself."
Kris went on to say, "If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don't want to do anything – then don't do anything. But for me, this is aging gracefully. It's my version." Crediting Dr Levine, she said, "Of course, my daughter Kylie went with me, while Kim was present at all times on FaceTime.
"I decided to reveal some details because I feel it can be very inspirational to people who aren’t feeling so great about themselves. Even when I had my hip replacement, we filmed it. I have the conviction that sharing these things can be helpful."
