Kris Jenner got candid about going under the knife.
The reality star opened up about her second facelift ― and why she decided to share certain details ― in a cover story for the September issue of Vogue Arabia.
“I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh,” she told the outlet in the article, published on Tuesday. “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy.”
“Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself,” she added before giving some insight into her take on plastic surgery.
“If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don’t want to do anything – then don’t do anything. But for me, this is ageing gracefully. It’s my version.”
Jenner, who caused headlines when she debuted her new look in May, also gave some background on why she is sharing information about her second facelift.
“I decided to reveal some details because I feel it can be very inspirational to people who aren’t feeling so great about themselves,” Jenner said. “Even when I had my hip replacement, we filmed it. I have the conviction that sharing these things can be helpful.”

While Jenner did share some details about her procedure, she doesn’t hold a candle to Kathy Griffin, who recently made a 25-minute YouTube video called “New Face, Same Kathy!” to talk about her third facelift.
“I’m going to be honest ― it’s painful,” Griffin said of the operation. “So these bitches that are like, ‘It’s like getting a tooth filled! It’s nothing!’ No ― it’s painful.”
