NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had addressed the nation from the Purple Fort final Thursday to mark the four-hundredth delivery anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur, was on Mond ay honoured with “Sanman Patra” from Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib, one of many 5 Takhts.
“It displays the respect and affection he (PM Modi) has earned from Sikh Sangat,” BJP chief Manjinder Singh Si rsa stated, as he thanked Jathedar Kulwant Singh for honouring the PM and acknowledging his actions for the neighborhood.
Sirsa stated that the “honour” conferred on the PM holds imm ense significance for the truth that Jathedar Kulwant Singh is among the most revered saints of the Sikh neighborhood.
