Kris Jenner made a rare confession about her facelift, which went viral and nearly broke the internet when fans noticed her new look.
Jenner, 69, recently revealed that she gave her friends and family members a “secret password” to schedule consultations with plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Levine, who was the mastermind behind her facelift.
While appearing on the Tuesday, October 14, episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, she added that Levine had a surprising request when she asked if she could publicly reveal that he performed the plastic surgery procedure.
“He didn’t want the attention, which I loved,” she recalled. “He goes, ‘Listen, I’ll tell you what. As long as we can come up with a password so that if somebody calls and says, “I’m Kris Jenner’s best friend, and can I have a consultation?” They have to say the secret password.’”
The Kardashians star went on to claim that other “people have tried to get in” who don’t know the code, and they were later turned away.
“If I told you how many times his office has called and said, ‘Julie Monopoly’s on the phone, and she says she’s your best friend,’” Jenner said.
Also during her recent podcast appearance, Jenner explained to host Amanda Hirsch why she wanted to be open about her plastic surgeries. She shared that she hopes to “inspire” others with her honesty.
“It really is somehow my way of showing people … not to be afraid of surgeries that you need that are necessary or even something you wanna do because you wanna feel better about yourself,” she said.
Jenner continued, “Don’t be afraid of it. Fear is not your friend.”

Jenner first sparked speculation that she had work done in April when fans noticed she had an especially youthful appearance. However, she didn’t confirm that she had a facelift until four months later in August during an interview with Vogue Arabia.
In addition to confirming that Dr. Levine performed the surgery, she revealed her mindset when it came to getting the procedure done. “I decided to do this face lift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum explained at the time. “Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don’t want to do anything – then don’t do anything. But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version.”
